The short version
- We collect only what the game needs: your Nutaku user ID, your game data, and basic technical data.
- We do not get your real name, email, payment details or precise location from Nutaku.
- No ads, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking. We never sell your data.
- Almost everything is deleted when the game launches.
Hidden Feature Studio, LLC ("we") runs the closed beta of Across the Gate: Into Her World. This notice covers the beta only.
1. What we collect, and why
- Your Nutaku user ID, to find your account. Nutaku sends us nothing else about you.
- Your account and game data: player name, rank, progress, units, items, currencies, every grant, spend and summon, and whether you are a verified adult. To run the game, keep its economy honest, and decide which content and players you can see.
- Your battles: team, moves (the replay), result and time. To check results on our server, fix bugs and balance the game.
- Friends and support units: who you add, requests sent and declined, the unit you lend, and who borrowed it. To run those features.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, the page requested, time, and the country our network provider (Cloudflare) works out from your IP. To deliver the game, keep it secure, and block regions we do not serve. We do not store the country with your account.
- Settings in your browser (sound, text speed, that you said you are 18+). They stay in your browser.
- What you send us: feedback, bug reports and emails. To answer you and improve the game.
2. Who sees it
- Other testers see your player name, rank, title, lent unit, and your ranking position, score and time. Friends also see roughly when you last played. Nobody sees your Nutaku name, account number or country.
- Our service providers (hosting, backups, Cloudflare, email), only to run the beta for us.
- The tester channel's provider, for what you post there.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, and a buyer, if the studio or game is sold. This notice keeps applying.
- Nutaku gets nothing from us. Nutaku's own privacy policy covers your Nutaku account and the Nutaku page around the game.
Because we do no tracking, a browser "Do Not Track" signal changes nothing.
3. Where it is kept
On servers in the United States. Cloudflare handles network data in the United States and Europe. If you live in Canada, your data is processed outside Canada, where that country's courts and authorities may be able to access it.
4. How long
- Beta account, game data, battles, friends: until launch, when the beta is deleted (backups within 30 days after).
- Ranking entries: 12 months after the season; ranked replays: 90 days after. The launch deletion comes first if sooner.
- Server logs: 14 days.
- The record that you accepted the Beta Terms: 2 years after the beta.
- Support emails: 12 months after the beta. Feedback: kept without your account details.
5. Security
Connections are encrypted, login tokens are stored only as hashes, backups are encrypted, and access is limited to the people who run the game. If a breach puts you at real risk, we will tell you as the law requires.
6. Your choices
Email support@acrossthegate.com to see, correct or delete your data. Deleting ends your beta account. We answer within 30 days, and may check the request is yours. These rights apply to every tester. You can turn off "Accept friend requests" in Settings. In Canada, you can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. Adults only
The beta is for people 18 or older. If we learn a tester is under 18, we delete the account.
8. Changes
We update the effective date when this notice changes. For an important change, the game shows you the new notice before you play.
9. Contact
Privacy questions and data requests: support@acrossthegate.com. Anything else: contact@acrossthegate.com. The studio: contact@hiddenfeature.studio.
