Make an account, place your first heroine, and learn the three things that run the game: Cost, lives and Resolve.

Make an account

The closed beta is by invitation. On your first visit, enter the invite code you were sent. It makes a new account on that browser.

Your account is held by the browser. Before you change browser or device, open Settings, then Account, then SWITCH ACCOUNT. It shows your RECOVERY CODE. That code is the only way back to the account, so copy it or write it down. On the new browser, choose "I have a recovery code" on the WELCOME screen and paste it.

Your first battle

Enemies walk a road to your gate. You place heroines on the highlighted spots to stop them.

  • Deploy. Place a unit in the lane. A unit there blocks enemies. Units can only be placed on highlighted tiles. Ranged units stand on ledges and cannot block.
  • Lives. An enemy that reaches the goal takes a life. LIVES is at the top left.
  • Cost. Each unit costs Cost to place. Cost never goes above 99, and a unit that is withdrawn gives part of it back.
  • Rally. Every unit on the field gets +30 percent ATK for 15 seconds. Cooldown 60 seconds.
  • Hold. For 6 seconds no unit on the field can fall. HP stops at 1. Cooldown 60 seconds.
  • Pause and 2x. Pause stops the battle, but you can still deploy and give orders. 2x doubles the speed.

Stars

Each map has three stars. You earn one for each of these: clear the map, lose no lives, and lose no units. A unit that falls retreats and costs you the third star.

Flying enemies cannot be blocked. Marksmen, Hexers and Cantors can hit them, so keep one in reach.

Resolve

Most maps cost Resolve, charged only when you clear them. It refills 1 every 4 minutes, up to 120 plus 3 for each rank. That is about 8 hours. Lessons cost no Resolve.

Grow your team

  • SUMMON brings new heroines. Your first SUMMON x10 is free. Read the banner's RATES AND DETAILS before you spend anything.
  • UNITS lets you level a unit. LEVEL UP spends Field Manuals and gold. The DAILY maps pay Field Manuals.
  • Gifts. Tap a heroine on the home screen, then GIFT, to raise her bond. See Bond.
  • TEAM. Choose who goes into battle. New features show a tip once.
